What will ABF do?
Iif funding is available, Animal's Best Friend will pay for part of your pet's spay/neuter surgery. The supplement amounts are as follows.

How do I get this help?
Each month ABF works with certain area vet clinics by authorizing the clinic to dole out a set amount in subsidies. Call 269-624-1090 and listen to the recording to find out what vets have been selected and then make an appointment with one of them to have your pet altered and ask if there is any ABF money left to apply to your pet's surgery. Your best chance of getting the surgery subsidized is by scheduling your appointment early in the month when the clinics are first authorized to use the money.
What if the clinic says there is no money left?
You can try calling some of the other clinics that were selected for the month and schedule the surgery there. You can also contact the Kalamazoo Humane Society at 269-345-1181. They offer spay/neuter vouchers.
What doesn't ABF do?
Spay/neuter is Animal's Best Friend's only function. If you need help with other vet care, help finding a home for an animal or want to adopt a pet, please contact some of the other Michigan organizations who may be able to assist you.
